All products sold from our store are new in box, retail versions and are fully guaranteed by the manufacturer. The manufacturers' full factory warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer, in most cases up to one year. On occassion, we may run special promotions offering refurbished products for buyers who value this type of savings but these items will be clearly marked as such.

All transactions at Pathfinder Portable GPS are 100% secure with 128-bit encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology provided by Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996. Pathfinder Portable GPS does not keep your full credit card number on file or use your personal information for anything except order processing and shipment. Your card is charged once you submit your order. Product is shipped out same day for orders received prior to 2:00 PM CST or next day if received after 2:00 PM CST unless it is on backorder, at which point it will be shipped out as soon as it becomes available.

Upon order submission, we will send you an email confirming your purchase and the billing and shipping information. You may check on the status of your order at any time by clicking "Track Your Order" located at the top right corner of any page of our website. Placing Your Order

You can place an order with Pathfinder Portable GPS by using our secure shopping cart system on www.pathfindergps.com and pay with your  Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card or via PayPal. Sorry, no checks are accepted at this time.

Sales Tax

Pathfinder Portable GPS only charges sales tax for orders being shipped to Wisconsin and sales and use tax for orders shipped to Califonia as per Califonia's State Board of Equalization. Tax is calculated according to the shipping address. If you are a legally tax-exempt organization or an authorized reseller, you may be exempted from paying sales tax by submitting the appropriate documents to Pathfinder Portable GPS prior to your order.

Pathinder Portable GPS gives you the option of calculating real time shipping costs by selecting UPS Ground or UPS 2nd Day Air, or you may select from our fixed flat-rate shipping charges (your shipping cost is the same no matter how many items you buy and no matter where in the fifty U.S. states you are located.) We highly recommend providing a physical street address so that we may track shipments (UPS and FedEx do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.) However we do offer USPS Priority Mail service for customers wishing to take delivery at a P.O. Box as well as for members of the U.S. Armed Forces with an APO or FPO address. We only ship within North America at this time (United States and Canada).

All U.S. shipments within the 50 states are trackable; the customer will be provided with a tracking number via our order tracking page, http://www.pathfindergps.com/tracking. You can track your order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on our website.

* International customers: we ship via UPS or FedEx International Express, which averages $60-$90 and generally takes 3 business days to arrive. We ask our Canadian customers to contact us prior to placing your order to get the exact cost including shipping. Please be advised that orders shipped outside the USA will be marked as commercial goods and your government may impose customs import duty or tax on your order. You are solely responsible for paying any and all of these duties (as they vary by country). Please direct any customs-related inquiries to the customs bureau in your own country.

Please note: any customers wishing to pay with a credit card issued by a non-US bank may be asked to furnish additional information to verify the identity of the cardholder. For orders above $1000, we may not accept a foreign credit card. In this instance, the order would have to be done by mail, with payment by cashier's check.

Right to Cancel

Manufacturers are constantly updating their product lines and eliminating some models.  Prices and availability are subject to change prior to shipment. Should this occur, you will be notified by email and given the option to accept these changes or cancel the order. We reserve the right to cancel any order.

Returns

All of our products are new in box and fully guaranteed by the manufacturer. The complete warranty is included with any product for sale at Pathfinder Portable GPS. The manufacturers' warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer, in most cases up to one year.

Pathfinder Portable GPS offers a generous return policy to ensure total customer satisfaction:

As of the day Pathfinder Portable GPS ships your order, we offer a 14-day return policy on all items unless otherwise noted on the individual product page. Your return must be shipped back to us by the 14th day after we send your order, or your return will be refused. After the 14-day period, customers must contact the manufacturer for direct return or repair information.

Pathfinder Portable GPS will exchange defective units and parts to the customer with no restocking fees. Customers seeking to return for refund, not exchange, defective items will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Customers may also replace defective items with other items of equal or greater value with no fees; you are not obligated to replace with the same model.

For unopened items, there is no return fee to exchange for another item of equal or greater value, but to receive a refund, there is a 10% restocking fee.

For opened, non-defective items, there is a 10% fee for exchanging and a 20% fee to receive a refund.

Refunds do not cover shipping costs.

All exchanged/returned merchandise must be in original factory condition, including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, and all accessories. For this reason, units that have been cracked, scratched, abused, or that are missing the original UPC code on the box will not be accepted for return or credit and must be returned directly to the manufacturer. We can only offer a refund using the form of payment originally used by the customer.

Please do not tape or write anything on the item or package! Before you send merchandise back, please be sure to check that you have not left any of your own belongings with the unit.

To return products to Pathfinder Portable GPS, please notify us through our Contact Us form or email returns@pathfindergps.com to receive return instructions and a Return Authorization (RMA) number. Our warehouse cannot accept any packages without this RMA number clearly displayed on the ouside of the package.

Please Note: Pathfinder Portable GPS cannot be held responsible for packages until they are delivered to us, so please use a trackable and insured means of shipping (UPS or FedEx) or get Delivery Confirmation and insurance with USPS priority mail. For most returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. For customers exchanging defective merchandise only, Pathfinder Portable GPS will reimburse ground shipping fees if you send us your shipping receipt, up to $8.95. Please note that Pathfinder Portable GPS cannot issue any other types of shipping refunds.

Please check your order as soon as it is received. We allow only 48 hours from time of delivery to make any claims for missing or damaged items. If your package arrived open please check contents before you accept the package. Inform delivery personnel of any problems. If you do not receive your order within 14 days of receiving our shipment notification email, please be sure to contact us by the 14th day after shipment so that we can file a claim with the shipping carrier and reship your order. Unfortunately, Pathfinder Portable GPS cannot be held responsible for claims of non-receipt past 14 days after shipment.

Once we receive your return we will ship your replacement or process your credit within 3-5 business days. When returning an item, please do not initiate a chargeback with your credit card company. We will credit your card for your return, and a chargeback will only delay processing of your return. We vigorously work with authorities to investigate and prosecute the fraudulent use of credit cards.

If there is a dispute of any kind, we will work with the customer to achieve a fair resolution. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction.
